If you started a forum, what would you start it with?

the only thing, is that to skin it, i would have to go into the server, and make skins by adding folders adn stuff, I dont have a clue how to skin it using the actualy AdminCP

The only reason I have it is because of the features:
Social Groups
Soft Delete (delete topics, but are still there to admins/mods in case the need to eb returned)
Noitces
Social Group catagories (just released in 3.8.0!)

but IPB is best if you want a proffesional board, which is easy to skin.

Forummotion is good for forum newbies...But still...I'd start with vB

I'd only start with vB if i knew i'd be getting lots of website traffic, otherwise i would use a free thing like myBB or that stuff

I know, but if you had a website, you wouldn't want to link to "blah.forumotion.com", it would be unproffesional. And as you are hosting the website, you would be able to host your own forums as well.
